Brandy Wells

Brandy graduated from Wes-Del in 1992. After graduation she attended Earlham College earning her Bachelors Degree and Continued her education at Saint Mary of the Woods, earning a Masters of Leadership Development. At Wes-Del she earned 4 letters as a Football Manager, 4 letters in Basketball and 4 letters in Track/Field. In basketball at Wes-Del she served as team Captain, was the Most Valuable Player for the 90-91 and 91-92 seasons. She made the All-County Team in 1991 and was Honorable Mention in 1992. In Track/Field she served at Team Captain, was selected as Most Valuable Field Person in 1990. In 1992 she was the anchor of the County Champion 4×100 Relay Team, was County Champion in the Long Jump and won the team Mental Attitude Award. Also, in 1992 she received the U.S. Army Reserve National Scholar-Athlete Award, the All Sports Scholastic Mental Attitude Award, the Herschel Brown Sportsmanship Award, and the Loretta G. Brown Citizenship Award. In college she participated in Basketball 4 years, Track and Field 2 years, Tennis 2 years, and Soccer 2 years. In 1993 she became the record holder in Indoor and Outdoor Long Jump, was a member of the 4 x 200 Relay Team that set a new Indoor school record, she was a member of the 4 x 100 Relay Team that set a new Outdoor school record and was selected All NCAC for indoor track. She was selected as the Most Valuable Player on the Tennis Team in 1996. In Basketball she served as Captain her Sophomore, Junior and Senior years and was awarded the Defense Award in 93, 94, 95, and 96. She also received the Roy and Marilyn Schuckman Mental Attitude Award in 1996.
