IASP District 6 Elementary Principal of the Year 2010-2011
Thirty four years of educational experience combined from all levels including elementary, middle, and high school.
Eleven years experience as Principal; administered all facets of the educational process associated with a public school.
Nine years experience as Assistant Principal; administered the discipline program for a seven through twelve and a
nine through twelve building, managed the school calendar, scheduled field trips and facilities usage, coordinated all emergency drills and reports, evaluated faculty and staff, supervised the advisor/advisee program, worked with the G/T program, assisted with Tech Prep, served as curriculum coordinator in the developmental year of the position, chaired the PBA/NCA self study, chaired the Technology Plan Grant Committee(1996-97), served on various other committees, and wrote or assisted in writing several grants.
Thirteen years teaching experience; assisted in curriculum development and served on committees to develop programs.
Served on North Central Association Accreditation evaluation teams.

contracted reconditioning of equipment.
Managed satellite locations for North Central Industries, Muncie, Indiana (summer employment); set up, designed, and stocked store, managed inventory and ordering, trouble shot and made decisions, hired and
trained personnel.

CHRISTIAN BACKGROUND
I was not a Christian when I attended Anderson University to play football but many seeds were planted there.
I met my wife in the spring of 1979, started attending church with her at Middletown Church of the Nazarene and became a
born again Christian in the spring of 1980.
I currently attend Northview Church, Anderson campus. Started attending Northview upon
returning to Indiana from Florida in May 2015.
I have served as the Youth Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, and Church Board
Member during my years at MCON.
I have participated in three mission trips: Mexico, West Virginia, and Kazakhstan.
My son, Cameron, attended Liberty Christian from his 7th grade through graduation in 2011.
I served for one year as the Chairman of the Board for a new Christian school in Muncie, IN.
