During his tenure, Wes-Del teams captured numerous sectional and regional championships, highlighted by the Volleyball State Championship in 2014. He was also instrumental in developing the school’s Student Leadership Council and served on the IHSAA Board of Directors during his final three years at Wes-Del. In recognition of his dedication and impact, he was named the District 4 IIAAA Middle School Athletic Director of the Year in 2018.

Kye is a dedicated family man and lifelong supporter of athletics and education. He and his wife, Monica, are proud parents of three daughters — Grace, Mattie, and MaciAnn. A passionate sports fan, Kye closely follows IU Basketball and Football, the Chicago Cubs, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Indiana Pacers, making annual trips to Assembly Hall and Wrigley Field whenever possible. He currently serves on the boards of the Wes-Del Athletic Hall of Fame, the Delaware County Hall of Fame, and the Muncie Sports Commission.
