Paul Parker

Contributions to the field of athletics (for Coaches and Contributors):

• Served 45 years in public education as teacher, coach, principal, and superintendent
• First Superintendent, Wes-Del Community Schools (then Harrison-Washington School Corporation) 1964 – 1985
• Led the creation and building of Wes-Del Jr. – Sr. High School
• Initiated the first football program at Wes-Del
• Hired first female Head Athletic Director (Kay Saunders)
• Founder, Paul and Lola Parker Scholarship

• Inducted into the Delaware County Athletic Hall of Fame 2004
