- Received the Army Reserve Senior Athlete of the Year Award in 1986
- Recipient of the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association 100, 200, and 300 Win Milestone Awards

- Won three sectionals as a Varsity Boys Coach (2 at Eastside, 1 at Evansville Central)
